What fees are involved in renting an RV?

Renting an RV involves a variety of fees. It is worthwhile to carefully analyze all the costs associated with renting such a vehicle before deciding on a signature rentals. How much does it cost to rent an RV and what fees are involved?

Price per car

The most important and by far the largest cost to be paid is the fee for renting a car for a day. The price of renting such an RV depends primarily on our needs and the size of our wallet. Among the offers of rental companies, you can find RVs for more than PLN 1,000 gross per day, which are very prestigious and richly equipped, as well as slightly more budget versions, which will be perfect for a trip for two.

If you have a limited budget, you can opt for mid-priced campers. Their cost is about PLN 550 gross per day. They allow comfortable travel and rest for up to 7 people at a time.
You can also find campers on the market practically affordable. Their price even during the holiday season reaches less than 450 PLN gross. Such a solution is intended for those who plan to travel with a smaller group of people.

Service charge

Another fee that makes up the total cost of renting an RV is the service fee, which is a one-time fee added to the cost of renting a car. With such a fee, you get a cleaned and fueled camper with the necessary equipment. The service fee for most rental companies is mandatory. However, in some rental companies it is possible to waive such a fee within a very long rental period. Usually, the service fee is about 200 PLN, but in the case of more expensive and more advanced campers, it can be much higher.

Deposit

The deposit is a kind of security for companies that deal with car rentals. In the case of renting an RV, it is an expense of about 4000-6000 zlotys. The amount of the deposit depends primarily on the rental company and the type of camper. The more sophisticated the car you intend to rent, the higher will be the deposit, which must be paid at the time of renting the vehicle. The deposit in most rental companies is refundable and it is only a security for possible damage to the vehicle. In such a situation, an appropriate amount is taken from the deposit to repair the item. The deposit may also be charged for failure to comply with the rental company's terms and conditions.

Fee for exceeding the kilometer limit

The daily mileage limit is something that an increasing number of rental companies are moving away from. In some places, however, such a fee is in place all the time, and it involves paying an appropriate fee for each kilometer driven above the limit specified in the contract.
