It is not necessary to do a category B+E licence. All you need to do is add code 96, which entitles you to drive a vehicle together with a trailer with a total weight of up to 4,250 kg. Adding such a code is not difficult and all you have to do is go to the Provincial Traffic Centre and pass the practical part of the test there.
